"I work best with Working professionals with ADHD & Performance anxiety, who are tired of constantly fighting their own minds.
I combine evidence-based REBT with ADHD coaching techniques to help you understand yourself, regulate emotions, and build systems that work for your brain—so life feels less overwhelming and more manageable.
As an ADHDer myself, and having worked through my own struggle with high-functioning anxiety, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience.
My structured, transparent approach is designed give you clarity, direction, and confidence from the very first session.
Outside therapy, you'll usually find me gardening, discovering good food, travelling, or spending time with my dogs. I'm endlessly curious and probably learning something new."

Waiting to 'feel ready' often keeps people stuck. Clarity usually comes after starting therapy, not before.

"She's changed the way I understand myself. Her specialization in ADHD has been particularly valuable. She gets how my brain works and meets me there."
"She helped me through my journey of being a person with tragically low self esteem to being a well balanced individual. Therapy helped in reducing my dependency on medication and manage my life better."
Barkha treated the therapy course as finite and focused on helping me apply the techniques I picked up during my sessions. She was excellent at making the sessions engaging and helping you using proven scientific methods.
The parts of myself that I uncovered with Barkha, helped me be a better person to myself, my friends, family and to my own patients as well. She helped me feel more like myself, truer to my flaws as well my assets.

M.A. (Counseling Psychology), S.N.D.T. Women's University
Trained in REBT (In Vivo, Mumbai)
I work best with adults navigating anxiety and depression while struggling with uncertainty, self-doubt, low confidence, perfectionism, and the constant feeling of "I'm not good enough."
People often tell me they feel comfortable opening up with me sooner than they expected. I believe therapy works best when you feel accepted, understood, and free to be yourself—without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Using REBT with my unique relatable & easy-going style, I help you understand the thoughts driving your emotions and change the unhelpful patterns that keep you stuck. Therapy with me is full of examples & analofoes so that concepts reamain practical, memorable, and easy to apply sustainably.
Life has taught me resilience, acceptance, and the importance of hope, even during difficult times. My difficult personal experinces have shaped me into a therapist who leads with empathy, honesty, and optimism—believing that meaningful change happens one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you.
Outside therapy, you'll usually find me following cricket, tennis, and Formula 1, catching up on TV shows and pop culture, or unwinding with coffee, music, and a long drive.
You don't need to feel certain before before starting therapy. Confidence is often one of the greatest outcomes of therapy.

I was really scared, confused but Simi made the journey very comfortable. I was dealing with anxiety and panic attacks, its been almost a month I have stopped my sessions and I have been great!
"When I started, I was struggling with overwhelming emotions and uncertainty. The tools and techniques I learned during therapy helped me manage my anxiety, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and better regulate my emotions."

M.A. (Counseling Psychology), SNDT University, Mumbai | Advanced Certification in REBT, AEI, New York | REBT for Relationship Issues, Certificate from Invivo Mumbai
I work best with adults working through self-doubt and self-image issues, relationship conflicts, and the anxiety and negative thinking that comes with these, including young adults with ADHD looking for support that actually fits how their mind works.
I meet clients where they are, not with a script.
My approach is collaborative and evidence-based rooted in REBT. Together, we'll identify the thought patterns keeping you stuck and build practical ways to respond differently. I use relatable examples from everyday life, movies, and shows to make new perspectives easier to understand and remember, so they translate into lasting change beyond therapy.
Having navigated my own struggles with negative thinking and anxiety, as well as the challenges of a long-distance relationship, I understand many of the emotional challenges my clients bring into therapy. If you're looking for a therapist who is approachable, adaptable, and willing to work alongside you at your pace, we'll likely be a good fit.
Outside therapy, you'll usually find me working out, cooking up something new, watching movies or sports or trying out a new restaurant with people I love. Come Navratri though, I turn into a full-time garba enthusiast.
Starting therapy isn't easy. But waiting rarely makes things easier; beginning often does.

"She has helped me significantly reduce my anxiety with empathetic approach and effective techniques. I feel much more in control of my emotions."

There is no single “perfect therapist.” The right therapist is one who is a good fit for your needs, goals and circumstances.
Before choosing, consider:
You don't need to find the best therapist. You need to find a therapist who is right for you.
Yes. The choice of therapist is yours, and we encourage you to choose based on the therapist's expertise, approach and your own preferences. We are happy to guide you, but we won't choose for you.
If you realise that your therapist isn't the right fit, you deserve the opportunity to find a better match. Staying with a therapist who doesn't feel right may make it harder to engage openly and get the most from therapy.
At Manahsparsh, we generally recommend exploring a better fit outside our existing team rather than moving between therapists within the practice. Where appropriate, we are happy to help you identify or refer you to another professional.
Talk to your therapist about it first. A good therapeutic relationship requires honest communication.
Tell them what isn't working—whether it's the pace, approach, communication, goals or something else. Your therapist may be able to adjust the way you work together.
Give it enough time to see whether things improve, while also paying attention to how you feel and whether you are making progress.
We also encourage you to be honest when giving feedback or completing reviews. We can personalise therapy only when we understand what you need.
If the fit still isn't right, don't let one difficult therapeutic experience become the end of your therapy journey. Finding a better match can make a meaningful difference.
Yes. Manahsparsh works with clients in India and worldwide, and many of our clients are Indians living abroad.
We particularly work with clients across countries such as the UK, Germany, Ireland, UAE and Australia.
For many Indians living abroad, working with an Indian therapist can offer a useful combination of professional psychological support and cultural understanding. We understand the experience of navigating more individualistic societies while also being connected to Indian family systems, values, expectations and cultural norms.
Online therapy allows us to provide this specialised support across geographical boundaries.
Therapy fees vary by therapist and location. For clients in India, our 1:1 therapy fees generally range from ₹2,000–₹4,500 per 45–50 minute session, excluding applicable GST.
Fees for clients outside India are different and are determined based on the therapist, location and applicable pricing. We aim to make professional support accessible through different levels of care, including free resources and affordable self-help options, in addition to 1:1 therapy.
Contact us to find out the current fee for the therapist you're interested in.
