Counseling & Psychotherapy is an approach to deal with mental health related issues by communicating and interacting with qualified professionals.
It's a process wherein we help you explore, understand and tackle your psychological difficulties as we speak over several paced out sessions. We use tried and tested methods, tools & techniques to help you deal with your problematic thoughts, emotions and action patterns.
Exploring and understanding the complexities of your experiences takes time; and, developing the skills to become independent and self-sufficient, requires consistent efforts on both our parts.

The total sessions needed, varies from person to person. but 8-12 sessions are usually sufficient. The approach we use at Manahsprsh is brief yet highly effective.
Sessions are conducted once a week and are about 45-50 minutes long.
Therapy doesn't work automatically just by itself. If you put in conscious and deliberate effort within and even beyond the therapy setting, you will start seeing some change after the 3rd-4th session.
Psychotherapy by itself will never involve medicine. Therapists are not medical doctors but if need be, they may recommend you to see a psychiatrist for assessment or medication.
Your 1st session will include
1. Introductions
2. Questions about history and background
3. Brief discussion about pressing issues
4. Setting goals & a plan of action
Therapy is a confidential process and everything you discuss with your therapist stays between the two you you. Therapists accept you as you are, so, you can also be assured that they won't judge you.
Therapists understand your nervousness and hesitation. They are trained to make you comfortable, answer your questions and ease you in the process. They will help you navigate through confusion by asking you helpful questions.
Whether you are troubled by your thoughts or are disturbed about your emotions, actions & life circumstances; therapy can help you overcome your issues & get back control of your life!
